Hello, I'm Nick Rogozinski!
I am a biomedical engineer and aspiring physician with a B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering, where my research focused on cardiac tissue engineering, arrhythmia modeling, and in vitro disease modeling. My work in both academic and industry settings has deepened my understanding of cardiovascular disease at the molecular level, but it has also revealed the limits of what science alone can accomplish for patients. Experiencing the human cost of rare and chronic disease firsthand has driven my commitment to medicine as the space where rigorous science and direct patient care converge. I am pursuing medicine to become a physician-scientist who doesn't just advance our understanding of disease but translates that knowledge into meaningful outcomes for the patients who need it most.
